Er. Ajay Mahajan, Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh

Er. Ajay Mahajan is an Entrepreneur and Motivational Speaker in district Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. He was born on April 1, 1998, in village Brahampukhar district Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.

He completed his early schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bilaspur, and then moved on to Jaypee University where he was awarded an Honors degree in B. Tech. Civil Engineering. During his school years, he was an avid participant in debates, speeches, and other public speaking activities. He won first prize in the 17th National Youth Parliament Competition, organized by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs of the Government of India, in 2014. Following that he started getting recognized as a Public Speaker and started conducting career counseling sessions for school students.

He is a technology enthusiast by birth, and after completing his Civil Engineering degree, he decided to pursue a career in Information Technology and joined Infosys Limited as a Software Engineer in 2019. In 2020, he was nominated a resource person for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Skill India Initiative, which is part of the National Skills Development Mission. During this period, he realized that the existing education system can barely help students realize their true potential.  He made the decision to expose students to real-life challenges early in their school time and aid them in solving those problems and developing unique solutions, thus transforming them into Job Creators rather than Job Seekers.

His grandfather, Late Girdhari Lal, was well-known in the community for his honesty and impartiality. People used to approach him for help in resolving disputes, and everyone respected his decision. The family upholds this legacy of honesty and ethics. Shri Madan Lal, his father, is a businessman and a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh local office-bearer. Currently, Ajay is the CEO of a technology-based company and is involved in a number of projects with local groups, assisting them in growing through the use of cutting-edge technology while maintaining business ethics.
