Mumbai Museum is a Colonial relic of the past to celebrate the visit of the visit of Prince of wales in 1904. It doesn’t do any justice to the history of India because of the confused mindset of leftist oriented historians. The mediocrity of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya can be ascertained from the fact that the rich history of natives of Maharashtra is not shown in a proper light. The political correctness espoused by Secularism is seen every where. This museum must come out of British Colonial past and depict some value to an Indian. Therefore most Indians don’t visit this museum. To a foreigner also this museum disappoints to a large extent.
Review: This museum doesn’t represent the history of India. The ancient history is completely hidden in this museum. Museum itself shows just abstract paintings from 16th to 18th century and doesn’t seem to have any research on the ancient land that it represents. This is a British Raj Colonial museum trying to do a lip service to History.
