Modern Hindu history interpretations are mostly written by leftist and communist writers from the western countries. It’s quite suspicious as to why a western scholar would deliberately try to misinterpret Hindu scriptures to present ideas that have no connection with the original sanskrit texts. It gives rise to a doubt on their real intentions. Western Interpretations without a proper due diligence and cross references while ignoring very valid historical events, seems to give an impression that these western academics are working on an agenda against Hinduism. Max Mueller and Macaulay have severely influenced their work. Also, to maintain their jobs they have to toe the line of their predecessors. Their complete disregard of Hindu saints shows that they reject all Vedic traditions except those who agree with them. Their friends in Hindu community are often those who agree with them. Virtually, no Hindu saint with proper disciplic background is allowed to speak their ideas in their hallowed academic curriculum. The entry barriers for a hindu tradition follower to lead a class at any of these western institutions is very high. Many Indian academic institutions affiliated to these western institutions carry the same attitudes and viewpoints.
The tragedy of Hindu community is that the western leftists and ultra leftists are considered as Hindu scholars in India. Hindus are made to study the books of western indologists who have vague understanding of Indian culture. Books of leftist ideology professors try to take the most popular political stances. One of the key aspects of their theories are based on the following topics to create confusion in the minds of Hindus.
- Differentiating between Vedas and Puranas
- Belittling the history and timelines of Ramayan and Mahabharat
- Writing fake translations on Vedic literatures
Their theories are used by anti Hindu scholars to create political narratives. Nowadays many of these western apologists have joined anti hindu forces openly to spread hatred against Hindus. Most of these western haters must be sacked by universities and colleges for their involvement in promoting violence against Hindu practitioners.
One of the pet themes of these western authors in recent times has been extremely political. Their apparent attempts to create a false narrative on Hindutva has caused more embarrassment to western education system than ever before. For them Hindutva is bad and Hinduism is good. Commoners are aghast at blatant lack of linguistic skills of these western fake academicians. How can a person holding the title of a professor be so naive in translation? Hindutva is a Hindi word for Sanatana Dharma. Hinduism is a colloquial word for Sanatana Dharma. This fake narrative is seen in ultra left media of North America and also the ultra left of Indian media. Many mythologists who follow these western academicians peddle this narrative in India. It’s not ironic and surprising that communists and Islamists in India have also joined this leftist narrative of the west.
Bhagavad Gita explains about four varna, not caste. However, the leftist western academicians translate this as classes as per their Marxist translations. Their emphasis on equality defies the natural construction of any society according to their various professions and natural qualities obtained from nature. The western indologists have a highly condescending attitude towards Indian diaspora and Hindu saints. They believe that they know everything and consider Hindu indologists who are outside their leftist ideology as fanatics. Their blatant mischaracterization of Varna system speaks of their propagandist attitude. And, not to mention, they believe that they can’t be questioned. They fail miserably at the historical proofs of the word caste being introduced by Portuguese Christian missionaries to defame Hinduism.
Another issue where western indologists and anthropologists get caught with their leftist propaganda for Dalits. Here, they claim that Dalits are discriminated. Here, the excellent work of a famous Hindu indologist such as Rajiv Malhotra have exposed their agenda completely. His invention of the term Hinduphobia defined an actual phobia that they are suffering from. The western ideas of equality are ingrained in ancient Vedic scriptures and probably they plagiarized it from there. From the Vedic scriptures point of view, nobody has ever been discriminated against. But social anomalies have definitely caused some discrimination which has been severely reformed by Vedic saints. The discrimination has historic roots to Islamic invasion. Islamic invasion destroyed Indian Vedic social system. And to escape Islamic barbarism, some social anomalies have definitely happened. Still, Hindus don’t need any guidance from western academicians and anthropologists. Hindus themselves have reformed their anomalies.
Western historians do not recognize Islamic invasion of Hindu territories of Afghanistan, and present day Pakistan. Here they conveniently portray those invasions as merely Kings fighting over land or improving the governance. If they were just trying to improve the governance then why did they obliterate the temples and economies of those conquered lands. History shows that those regions became extremely poor after Islamic invasions. Western academicians deliberately fail to recognize a religion based conquest of Hindus. They also fail to recognize the terror imposed by Islamic invaders because of their kafirphobia. Kafirphobia actually means fear of Kafirs. This term was introduced by me in my book Sattology – Debunking Mythology. It was a kafirphobic attempt to destroy the history of natives from the religion perspective. Their invasion based on their faith is different from a movement to improve quality of life. This is where the history starts to be rewritten by western historians especially on Hindu lands. The viewpoints of the victims, that is, Hindus is blatantly ignored.
The western indologists and academia have also failed on Aryan Invasion theory which has significantly dented their credibility. The movement of Hindus to the west was the actual occurrence and not vice versa. Western movement to India to colonize and loot India was a later phenomena. Why every European traveller tried to find India for better trade routes? The quests of Vasco Da gama and Columbus to search for India proves our point that India was always a better civilized nation than most western societies. This fact is not even acknowledged or discussed by western indologists and anthropologists. Most of the western interpretative narration of Indian histories have been written from the point of view of imaginary superiority coming from racial hatred. Western Caucasian academicians cannot digest the fact that Hindu or Vedic culture has been vastly superior to anything they ever wrote or said from time immemorial. Honest philosophers such as Mark Twain have proved it conclusively. Vedic or Hindu scriptures written in sanskrit have never been changed although many times misinterpreted by western Caucasian colonialists.
Equating western theology with Vedic theology has destroyed western academic institutions significantly. Women’s rights were practically non-existent in any abrahamic faiths until recently. Still In Islamic faith, women’s rights are a subject of debate. Here the western indologists or anthropologists try to paint all faiths as equal without any historical reference. Vedic traditions have always upheld women’s rights with innumerable historical references. Everyone knows that Hinduism is just a modern colloquial name for Vedic culture. Practitioners of Hinduism use Vedic literature as the basis of their faith. Separating Hindus from Vedic literature is almost similar to separating Christians from the Bible or Muslims from Quran.
What actually Western Historians, Indologists and Anthropologists are trying to do is to legitimize themselves. Their blatant misinterpretation of ancient sanskrit texts in an organized fashion is a conspiracy that needs exposition. That’s why they are deliberately trying to be hinduphobic inorder to justify their funding. Their hate of Hindu political leaders such as Modi and many others is a result of their hinduphobia. The best way for Hindus is to reject their writings, their papers and their political opinions into the dustbin of history. Once there are no buyers of their crappish, gibberish interpretations and commentaries, their enthusiasm will also drop. It’s time for Hindu or Vedic writers who follow their traditions to begin writing on Hindu and Vedic matters. The insiders have to lead, and the outsiders to Vedic culture have to now listen. That is the beginning of Dharma Rennaisance.
