A big Thanks to Shri Narendra Modi led BJP Government and Supreme Court of India from all Hindus. Ashok Singhal (VHP) and Dr Subramanian Swamy (BJP) played pivotal roles in supporting and bringing forth Hindu community voice for the Ram Temple. Millions of devoted followers of Bhagawan Ram have been waiting patiently for this verdict and very graciously accept a chance given by destiny to build a Grand Ram Temple at the site of Ram’s birthplace. The spiritual emotions and devotional joy cannot be described in words. All Glories to Bhagawan Ram.
Most western scholars won’t be able to understand the depth of pain caused by demolition of Ram Temple by Mughal invaders to India.
Current Summarized History:
In 1822, an official of Faizabad Court first claimed that the mosque stood on the site of a Ram temple. In 1855, Nirmohi Akhara first claimed the temple which resulted in religious riots between Muslims and Hindus. in 1859, British Colonial administration put an outer railing to separate the outer courtyard of the mosque. In 1949, Bhagawan Ram’s deities were placed inside the mosque by Hindu Mahasabha. This led to both Hindu and Muslim parties filing civil law suits in court over the title of Land. The site of the mosque was then locked and it was declared a disputed structure. In the 1980s, Vishva Hindu Parishad started a campaign to build Ram Temple at that site which was also supported politically by BJP. In 1986, Rajiv Gandhi opened the gates of the mosque to allow Hindus to worship Ram deities inside the Mosque premises to win back the support of Hindus which he had lost in the Shah Bano case. In 1989, Rajiv Gandhi lost General elections over his Muslim appeasement. Whereas, BJP increased its tally to 88, riding on the wave of Ram Temple movement, thereby sustaining VP Singh government. In 1990, Shri L K Advani started the Rath Yatra from all over India to Ayodhya in support of building Ram Temple at that site. Advani was arrested by the State Government of Bihar, but many Kar Sevaks reached Ayodhya. The Mulayam Singh government ordered firing on Kar sevaks resulting in death of many of them. In the ensuing elections, BJP increased its tally in the center and also formed its own government in the state of Uttar Pradesh where this site is located. On December 6, 1992, the frenzied mobs demolished the Babri Mosque structure which the Supreme Court described as neither spontaneous nor unplanned.
In 2019, Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gagoi, Ashoka Bhushan, D Y Chandrachud, Sharad Arvind Bobde and S A Nazeer heard from all parties including Archaeological Survey of India and made a judgement to reconstruct the temple at the disputed site after 6 weeks of hearing.
History of Mosque:
In 1574, Tulsidas, a great saint and a devotee of Ram, doesn’t mention any Mosque in Ayodhya. In 1611, a British traveler visiting Ayodhya mentions a palace of Bhagawan Ram at the same site. He made no mention of the mosque. In 1634, Thomas Herbert Hope Risley, a British anthropologist (who imposed a caste system on Hindus) visiting Ayodhya also didn’t mention any mosque at that site. Thomas mentions an especially memorable old castle of Bhagawan Ramchandra. Mosque was built between 1634 and 1672, by Mir Baki, a General of Aurangzeb under the orders of Babur (father of Aurangzeb) by destroying the old magnificent castle of Ramchandra. Joseph Tiefentheler visited the site between 1766-71 and stated that a mosque was built on the site of Ramkot or fortress of Ram which Hindus worshiped as a birth place of Ram. In 1810, Francis Buchanan also confirmed that the Mosque was built on the site of an old temple or castle of Ram. In 2003 Archeological Survey of India, found proof of an ancient temple buried under the structure of a Mosque. Before 1940s, Mosque was called Masjid-I-Janmasthan in all official revenue records of Muslim invaders and also local authorities. In 1870, H R Neville, wrote that the Birthplace of Ram was in RamKot and that it was destroyed on orders of Babur and replaced by a mosque. It was conclusively proved that the Ancient Ram Temple was demolished by Mughal invaders and a mosque was built on top of it. Only time separated truth from farce. In the end only Truth won, just like always.
It’s time that all of us rededicate ourselves to establish Dharma worldwide as taught by Shri Ram, now that He has manifested again.
It is a Diwali moment for 1.3 billion Hindus on the planet and also many other people whose faith is connected to Shri Ram. When Hindus are united for a cause, they can achieve anything.
The most beautiful Grand Temple of Ram is now anxiously being awaited at RamKot, the birthplace of Shri Ram.
Jai Shri Ram
